The Italian Network for the Euro-Mediterranean  Dialogue (RIDE, Head of the Anna Lindh Foundation in Italy) celebrates – with two events in the Pontine Archipelago, in the context of the Fourth Edition of the annual Euro-Med inter-institutional Pontine Medi-Jer initiative – a new progress between the two islands where the dream of a free and united Europe and of a democratic Italy, thanks to the cooperation between the new mayors of Ponza Franco Ambrosino and of Ventotene Carmine Caputo.
High-level experts and representatives of international organisations (UfM, PRIMA Foundation, IFAD, European Commission and Parliament)  will meet and share ideas on October 2, 2002 in Ventotene for the conference on Women for peace and security: innovation, higher education, and science diplomacy, and on  October 30,2002 in Ponza for a Seminar on the planned Euro-Med Center on Sustainability (circular economy, climate change, food security, and identitary cuisine) devoted to Mediterranean women and youth, at the local Turtledoves Villa/Villa delle Tortore.
